Sahara Hotnights

Sahara Hotnights are a recurring and influential name on the Swedish rock scene, with music that blends garage rock, punk and strong pop melodies.

The quartet was formed in Robertsfors in 1992 and, since their EP debut in 1997, have released several critically acclaimed albums, received gold and platinum records, and toured extensively both in Sweden and internationally.

When they released the album Love in Times of Low Expectations in 2022, it was their first full‑length release in eleven years and marked a clear comeback. In 2025, the band were inducted into the Swedish Music Hall of Fame, with the single “Always Like This” — a song about self‑doubt, change and the courage to hold on to your dreams.

Earlier this year, the single was followed by the band’s eighth album, No One Ever Really Changes, and a subsequent club tour across Sweden that arrives in Gothenburg in August.
