Welcome to the launch of the street newspaper Faktum’s program series, 25 years of Faktum. This program is a collaboration between Faktum and the Museum of Gothenburg.

The street newspaper Faktum was founded in 2001 and has since been fighting poverty, social exclusion, and homelessness through journalism and employment. During four events this fall, we will join Faktum vendors, researchers, journalists, and representatives from civil society and Faktum to discuss the reality faced by people living in poverty, social exclusion, and homelessness. And the difference that quality journalism and employment make—for the individual and for the city.

Today’s theme is “A City for Everyone—But where do the homeless belong?” where we’ll offer many different perspectives for discussion and networking.
