The dance floor fills with Arab pop hits from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Expect music by Nawal Al Zoghbi, Haifa Wehbe and Assala, alongside classics from the Melody Hits era.

ADIRA is a queer Arab pop club and collective founded in 2023 by Lebanese artist Hassandra and Syrian-German podcaster Zuher Jazmati, also known as xanax_attax. The name “ADIRA” comes from Levantine queer culture and describes someone with a strong presence.

The collective organises community events, panels, drag shows and workshops. It focuses on strengthening community and creating space for both emerging and established talent. DJs, drag performers and activists come together in a platform for Arab* culture.

*Arab here refers to a broad range of identities and ethnicities across Southwest Asia and North Africa.
