Build a bridge between the hearing and the deaf

How do two worlds meet without a shared language? This workshop explores encounters between hearing and Deaf communities.

Participants will encounter recognition, cultural differences and new perspectives. The session introduces the visual nature of sign language, including sign language art and Visual Vernacular.

The workshop is open to anyone curious about Deaf culture, sign language and communication across language barriers. There will be time for questions.
