Carnival parade

Colours, rhythms and movement fill the streets as Sambaskolan A Bunda invites you to a carnival.

A Bunda has been active since 1984 and works to ensure everyone can take part based on their own abilities. The carnival celebrates community, where differences are a strength.

The dance company Spinn joins the parade. This inclusive company brings dancers together in movement, accompanied by expressive Poppius masks.

You will also meet the Bergsjötrollet – a large character created by local residents in collaboration with Meeting Plays and artist Kimzonite during Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary. Each year, the troll comes to life and dances with the audience, orchestras and performers.

Join the parade and experience dance, music and togetherness. If you like, you can also try samba and move to the rhythm.
