Stepping on board the East Indiaman Götheborg is like entering another time.
Take the opportunity to explore the ship at your own pace and move between the decks. Discover what life on board was like, with tight spaces, detailed constructions and traces of the extensive work behind the voyages to China and back. On board, guides, volunteers and crew share stories about life at sea — both past and present.
The ship is built using traditional methods and requires constant care. Gain insight into woodwork, rigging, ropes and construction.
The experience continues on the quay, with ice cream, refreshments and a lively setting where you can sit down and take in the atmosphere.
