It’s no surprise that Gothenburg is a strong beer city, but fewer people realise that its brewing tradition dates all the way back to the 17th century. Today, many of the city’s breweries have come together to revive the historic Gothenburg Brewers’ Guild, continuing to strengthen the city’s position on the beer map.

When you visit, you’ll have the opportunity to taste and enjoy craft beers from some of the city’s passionate brewers. A range of styles is on offer – from fresh sour beers and fruity IPAs to dark, malty porters.
