Join a guided tour of the exhibition “TATAU – Freedom | Identity | Memory”, focusing on the connection between tattooing and the decolonisation of the body.
The exhibition highlights women’s tattoo traditions from different times and cultures, including Amazigh, Kurdish, Maori, Balkan, Inuit, First Nations and Sápmi. Here, stories about one of the world's oldest art forms come together: the tattoo as a carrier of freedom, memory and belonging.
How can the body become a way to challenge colonial structures?
