My mother is faster than yours!

The performance opens late in the day, with two children sitting by the preschool window, watching for their mothers.

As the waiting goes on, imagination takes over. Whose mum will arrive first? What begins as a simple game grows into a fast‑paced adventure, where the mothers become heroes, giving everything they have — and a little more.

The story is told through mime and music and is based on the August Prize–nominated book by Emma Virke and Joanna Hellgren. A playful and relatable performance about waiting, imagination and strong mums.
