Swedish Breaking Championship – Stop 1 (qualifier event).

After 13 years, it’s finally time again – the Swedish Championship in Breaking. In connection with the Gothenburg Festival, the city is invited to a historic championship filled with energy, music, culture, and spectacular action.

Breaking, also known as breakdance, is an explosive dance form where strength, creativity, rhythm, and personality come together in impressive battles and show elements. Dancers challenge each other with fast footwork, powerful power moves, and acrobatic elements – all set to music played by a live DJ.

This will be a championship for all ages and something you won’t want to miss. Experience three days filled with excitement, joy, and some of Sweden’s top breakdancers competing for the title of the best in the country.

International judges will host workshops across the city in Biskopsgården, Tynnered, Hammarkullen, Bergsjön, and Trädgårdsföreningen. Here, participants will have the opportunity to both try breaking and develop their moves.

Gothenburg will welcome some of Europe’s most distinguished names in breaking.

Special attention is given to Bboy Junior from France, a member of the legendary Wanted Posse. He is considered one of the most influential breakers of all time and became world-famous for his unique style, incredible strength, and innovative moves that have inspired generations worldwide. Junior has represented France on the biggest stages and has served as a judge at top international competitions, including Red Bull BC One.

From Portugal comes Bgirl Vanessa, an established name on the international scene who has qualified for several of the world’s biggest competitions and demonstrated a high level in battles across Europe.

Spain is represented by Bgirl Movie One, known from the crews Lunaticks and Fleurs de l’ombre, with extensive experience in international battles and events.

From Poland, Bboy Wigor of Coolkidz Mob is known for his explosive energy and strong technique. He has also made his mark through major international competitions.

Italy brings Bboy Mowgly, one of the country’s most successful breakers. He has won Red Bull BC One Italy multiple times and represented Italy internationally, including in the Last Chance Cypher and World Final.
