Göteborgskalaset is certified as a Sustainable Event
We want to be more than just a festival; we aim to contribute to and inspire positive development in our city and the planet we live on. For us, sustainability means actively working with all three dimensions of sustainability: ecological, social, and economic.
Each year, we certify the festival as a “Sustainable Event” through Greentime. This sets the bar high and means we must place demands not only on ourselves but also on our partners.
Paving the way for single-use-free events
Göteborgskalaset works actively to reduce emissions and inspire the industry, visitors and other stakeholders to make more sustainable choices. An important part of this work is our commitment to waste-free serving, to avoid single-use items.
Circular event clothing

Diverse, gender equal and accessible to all
The festival’s program must have a broad representation and reflect society. We will create meeting places where people can meet and discover new parts of the city. No one shall be excluded because of gender, ethnicity, functionality, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender identity expression, religion or age.
