In collaboration with Göteborgs-Posten, tomorrow’s stars are presented on the GP Stage: Jonna Randen and Hostilia

The GP Stage is where audiences can discover some of the most exciting new names in music. See the performances at Kungstorget on 28 August, from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm.

Jonna Randen
She is an acclaimed singer-songwriter who released her second album, Visor från ingenstans (Songs from Nowhere), in 2025, which portrays life as a young adult. Musically she moves between folk, pop and rock, with lyrics filled with humorous descriptions of everyday life. Her lyrics together with her expressive voice, give the songs an authenticity that evokes both tears and joy.

Hostilia
The Gothenburg band Hostilia has attracted attention with its 2025 debut album, Face The Fire, which has been praised by critics in Sweden and abroad. The thrash metal band aims for an organic and energetic sound standing in contrast to overproduced and computer-generated styles, where classic influences meet a contemporary punch.
