Louisiana Avenue

Known as "Sweden's best live band" occupies a unique and distinct place in Sweden's and the Nordic music scene. As a tribute to one of the world's largest carnivals, Louisiana Avenue invites you to a colorful party where anything can happen! The group draws from New Orleans' bubbling pot of magnificent music that encompasses a variety of styles, such as soul, jazz, funk, blues, boogie-woogie, and cajun, often intertwined with each other. In addition to colorful stage outfits reminiscent of a Mardi Gras parade, the carnival feeling is enhanced by elements such as inflatable unicorns, plastic necklaces, parasols, and numerous flamboyant costume changes. This is how the band creates a celebration that everyone is invited to!

Behind the joyous and expressive stage performances lies a seriously intended philosophy of love. The group calls themselves a "message-driven joy orchestra" where the core value is the obvious inclusion of everyone. Regardless of age, background, or physical conditions, everyone is warmly welcomed into the world of Louisiana Avenue.
