Swedish championship i wordpuns 2026

Eight finalists compete across three rounds, where you help shape the outcome by voting and suggesting themes.

Round 1: Freestyle
Each participant performs their own two‑minute set of wordplay. The audience votes four favourites through to the next round.

Round 2: Rapid word
The remaining contestants receive new themes and must quickly deliver a good wordpun. One is eliminated at a time until two remain.

Round 3: The final battle
The two remaining finalists will be given an unknown picture. They will each one have their turn to make up a wordpun from the picture. Audience reactions decide - laughs, applause or boos. Two misses mean elimination.

The winner earns the title Swedish Wordplay Champion 2026.
